A Few Warm Tips on Minimizing the Noises Made By Hydraulic Disc Brake

1. If you have ridden fewer than 300 km on your bike, the brakes are not yet fully ridden in. In this case, it is very probable that the noises will go away themselves if you ride more.

2. Dirty brake rotors are a common cause of squeaking disc brakes. To clean them, remove the wheels and thoroughly clean the rotors with water or a special cleaner from a reputable bike shop.

3. Check if all bolts and screws connecting the hub body to the brake rotor are correctly tightened.
