The Juin Tech F1 is not just a simple mechanical disc brake, but rather a hybrid or cable-operated hydraulic brake. This means that it can be used with almost any standard MTB or road-style integrated shifters, including those designed for use with rim brakes. Juin Tech has tested these brakes in the 3 Peaks Cyclocross race and found outstanding braking performance and stopping power. They are also lightweight at just about 148g, which is 24g less than the Shimano mechanical units. The caliper is made of forged aluminum and has a rotor size of 160mm x 2pcs. It is designed for use with the Flat Mount system and C-brake and shifter lever. The brake caliper features dual pistons and uses non-corrosive and high stability mineral oil. Additionally, the brakes are available in black, red, and gray colors, making them suitable for use on Flat-mount Road, Cyclocross, Gravel, E-Bike, and Folding bike bicycles.
